90 Day Fiance star Julia Trubkina says she is not having a great year. She and her husband Brandon Gibbs agree that this has not been their best year. In fact, if they had their way they would skip the rest of 2023. They claim that they have suffered through one drama after the next since the beginning of the year, and they are over it.
90 Day Fiance: Julia Trubkina & Brandon Gibbs Feel Plagued by Bad Luck
Brandon Gibbs and his wife Julia Trubkina feel frustrated these days. They have had a lot to deal with and things aren’t going smoothly for the 90 Day Fiance couple.
So far this year, she has been robbed, as well as battling her neighbors. She feels threatened and unsafe in her home. It has been a lot for the TLC reality celebrities.
It is hard for her to understand why all of these things are happening. She says she feels like they are never able to get rid of this streak of bad luck, and it is starting to get her down.
Brandon has been her rock, but there is only so much he can do to try and reassure his wife that things will start to look up soon. It is starting to get to him as well. They are finding it difficult to stay positive, and they don’t like how it is affecting their lives.
Brandon Leans on Family During Tough Times
Thankfully Brandon and Julia of 90 Day Fiance have an excellent support system nearby. They know they can rely on his dad, Ron Gibbs, and his mom, Betty Gibbs to help them through these tough times. At times she finds it hard to believe how close she has become to her in-laws.

TLC fans recall that when they were first married, Betty and Ron did not welcome her with open arms into their family. At one point, it seemed like family issues were going to drive them apart. However, as time progressed by they worked through their problems and his family learned to accept and love her. Now they are the best of friends and spend most of their free time together.
90 Day Fiance: Julia Feels Threatened
Julia Trubkina has been through a couple of traumatic events that have frustrated her with the local law officials. Earlier last month she shared with her social media followers that she had been robbed. Now she has begun receiving alerts on her phone that there was suspicious activity with her bank card.
She says she became concerned and checked their security camera footage to find someone had broken into her car and stolen her purse carrying her money, bank cards, and other valuable documents. Trubkina says that she feels very violated and frightened by the robbery. But this is only the beginning of her problems.
The reality star contacted the police to report the robbery. However, she and her 90 Day Fiance husband found they were not much help. After taking the robbery report they gave her a phone number to call for further help. This upset her further because she had no faith in anything being done.
She found her discarded purse in her neighbor’s yard. But this just started another chain of scary events for her. When she attempted to retrieve her purse, the neighbors became angry and screamed at her to get off their property.
They also called her a drug dealer. She continues to say she attempted to explain what happened but her neighbor threatened to shoot her and warned her to stay off drugs.
Local Law Officials Are No Help for TLC Couple?
The 90 Day Fiance star, Julia adds that the neighbor’s threats did not stop there. She says she later found a letter in her mailbox telling her she had left her receipts in their yard and again warning her to stay off drugs. Once again the spouses called the police for help. But, once again she claims they did next to nothing to help her.
She says she now feels unsafe in her home because of her neighbors’ threats. It has been more than a month since the robbery and nothing has come of it. She says it is too much.
Brandon Gibbs and his 90 Day Fiance spouse Julia Trubkina are so discouraged by the recent events that they are reportedly thinking of moving out of the United States.
