Rishi Singh kept his engagement to Jen Boecher a secret from his mother for almost two years. After Shimla found out, she was accepting of it. But she changed her mind when her son told her there was a 15-year age gap between them.

He eventually came clean to The Other Way castmate about his mother’s thoughts about the age gap. She knew it was time to end their relationship and return to America. The two seemingly split. But it wasn’t long before they were reunited again.
The TLC pair reveals on the reunion special that they reconnected at a friend’s wedding and have been in contact ever since. However, Jen doesn’t think their engagement is back on. But Rishi does.
