Seasonic Lists RTX 50 Super Cards in PSU Calculator

Following months of on-again, off-again rumors that Nvidia was planning (or not) to launch a refreshed line of RTX 50-series graphics cards, Seasonic has now listed several new RTX Super graphics cards in its PSU Calculator. First spotted by a VideoCardz reader, this is the strongest evidence we have yet that the cards are coming, and it also reveals some key details on what these cards will demand from the power outlet.

Nvidia was long expected to launch RTX 50 Super cards, much like it did with the RTX 40-series before it. When the memory shortages bit in 2025, the rumors turned to delays and cancellations, because it wasn’t clear whether even Nvidia could get the memory it would need to make them, and its data center ambitions seemed to capture more of its attention anyhow.

But now it seems that these cards may well be coming, after all, including the RTX 5080 Super, RTX 5070 Ti Super, and RTX 5070 Super.

The Seasonic PSU Calculator suggests the 5080 Super will have a TDP of 415W—a 65W increase over the RTX 5080. The 5070 Ti Super has a listed TDP of 350W—a 50W jump—while the RTX 5070 Super has a TDP of 275W, making for a 25W leap.

This may or may not be accurate, but it largely tracks with what we expected the cards to be like from previous leaks. CUDA cores and clock speeds are expected to rise slightly, but it’s the increase in memory capacity that could be the most dramatic. The cards are expected to get an additional 50% of memory over their non-Super counterparts, giving the 5080 Super 24GB, the 5070 Ti Super 24GB, and the 5070 Super 18GB.

That would make them far more attractive in 2026, but that additional VRAM won’t be cheap if and when these cards are actually released.
