Eric André finally addressed the viral nude pictures of himself and Emily Ratajkowski. The comedian recently opened up on the thought process behind the post. André described the photos as “iconic” and a “happy accident.”
He revealed that spontaneity led him and Ratajkowski to take and share the series of snapshots. This was the “Jackass Forever” actor’s first nude viral photo, but Ratajkowski has a history of posing in her birthday suit.
While the couple was public with their brief relationship, André revealed that he was worried about Ratajkowski’s safety. He noted that she had a right to her privacy and referred to too much media attention as “legalized stalking.”

André, 39, spoke to Rolling Stone about the nude photos he shared of himself and Ratajkowski for Valentine’s Day. He recalled casually lying nude when the model randomly asked to take the “iconic” snaps of them. “I was really in the moment… drinking wine, and she started dying laughing, and she was like, ‘I have to take a picture of this.’”
They both took the photos and decided to share the “beautiful image” “with the world.” The comedian added that they didn’t put “much thought” into taking the shots, and this was the best part about them. The Valentine’s day photos show the “Hot Ones” actor lying naked on the couch with a wine beside him and a heart emoji covering his crotch area.
Ratajkowski, on her part, is seen taking the pictures from a mirror behind him with her buns bare while she has a bra on. Recalling the poses, André said, “It was one of those things.” The actor compared the shots to art pieces and called them a “happy accident.” He noted that the best kinds of art were brought about by “spontaneity,” not necessarily planned processes. André said, “I think that’s what art is about. Art is not intellectual; it’s primal.”

During their short-lived romance, there were several paparazzi shots of their dates and vacations. However, Ratajkowski implied in a TikTok clip that she had ended things with André. This followed many comments from the public about the model being out of André’s league.
Addressing them in his Rolling Stone interview, André sarcastically asked how people that were generally considered basic ended up with highly rated women in the industry. He questioned, “How could this happen?”
André explained that attraction was more than what people believed, and beauty was indeed in the eyes of the beholder. The comedian said, “I think that people think attraction is only based on physical appearance, but beauty is only skin-deep.”

The “Man Seeking Woman” actor revealed during the interview that he was worried about the overwhelming media attention Ratajkowski deals with on a daily basis. André noted that he felt “concern for her safety” and wished he could do something about it.
The comedian defended her “right to her privacy” and called out the paparazzi for following her around without her permission. He said, “It’s legalized stalking. There’s a darkness to it.” André went ahead to praise the model for handling the situation with “grace.”
Ratajkowski herself has called out the media for prying into her personal life in past relationships. She revealed how hard it was to go on regular dates without the media assuming that she was in a new relationship.
