General Hospital baddie Olivia Jerome could very well be the one Mason Gatlin takes orders from. Several clues point to Liv as the boss Mason is so loyal to on GH. And soon, Ava Jerome may find herself under her sister’s thumb on the ABC sudser.
General Hospital: Mason Gatlin Stole Nikolas Cassadine
Recently, on GH, we discovered that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) has Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) stashed somewhere on life support. Ava Jerome (Maura West) thought she killed Nik. Of course, it was an accident.
Now, he knows everything and has leverage over Ava and her partner-in-crime, Austin Holt (Roger Howarth). He knows what went down that night and is using it to his advantage. However, he is not the one calling the shots.
His lady boss is giving the orders, and Mason does what she says — no question asked. She’s the one who wants Nik kept alive. Plus, she has ties to Austin and possibly Ava, hint General Hospital spoilers.
Olivia Jerome Pulling the Strings on GH?
Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) is likely the mysterious boss. Not long ago, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) dropped Olivia’s name. Now we know she is in Pentonville.
And it’s clear that Olivia still has power because she recently threatened Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). So it’s entirely possible that Olivia is still running the Jerome mob organization from behind bars.
After all, Cyrus did it for years, recall General Hospital recaps. Indeed, it makes sense because Mason specifically took Nikolas to target Ava, who used to be the head of the Jerome crime family.
Olivia has always been at odds with her sister Ava. So, she might want Nik’s body so that she can hold it over her sister. If so, she has Ava and the good doctor right where she wants them.
Austin & Ava under Mason’s Thumb on General Hospital
Currently, on GH, Mason has his cousin and lady friend at his disposal. Now, he has Ava’s phone number, and he told her that when he calls, he jumps. So she and her pal have no choice but to answer to the thug on General Hospital.
But the orders don’t come from him. So soon, Ava could be answering to her sister Olivia and not even know it. But it could go one of two ways. Liv might want power over Ava. Or, she could surprise her and offer to help.
She might have had Mason snatch Nik to protect her sister. Indeed, Olivia is unpredictable. On the other hand, there is a slight chance that this mystery boss is Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers).
Of course, she is supposedly dead. However, she has been presumed dead before and resurfaced on General Hospital. The main clue that suggests it could be Helena is because of Nikolas.
He is her grandson, and she has always had a soft spot for him. So, while all signs point to Olivia, there’s always a chance Helena could pop back up. Soon it will all come together on GH.
And Ava may see she’s more connected to Austin than she realized. And they could both be in grave danger from Olivia Jerome and her lackey Mason Gatlin on the ABC soap. Don’t miss a minute.
