According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Studios and “Creed III” star Jonathan Majors was arrested Saturday (Mar. 25) over an alleged domestic dispute with a 30-year-old female, per The Hollywood Reporter. Currently, the actor is denying any wrongdoing.
Jonathan Majors Arrested Over The Weekend Over Alleged Domestic Dispute
Details on the situation are still pending. However, the New York Police Department released a statement that Majors was arrested due to accusations of allegedly assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute. Police officers reportedly received a 911 call from an apartment in Chelsea. The scene involved a 33-year-old male allegedly involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old female.
According to the NYPD, “The victim informed police she was assaulted. Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident.” The male was identified as Majors, and the woman reportedly sustained minor injuries to her head and neck, and she was later taken to the hospital, per the authorities.
Majors’ spokesperson said the actor was later arrested on charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment. He is not currently in police custody. The relationship with the alleged female victim was described as a “domestic” one with Majors.
A representative for the actor told THR, “He has done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.”
