Kroy Biermann finally talks about Kim Zolciak’s ever-present love for gambling and how it factored into their divorce.
Kroy Biermann Filed More Legal Documents
The former football player claims that his estranged wife, Zolciak, had a horrible “gambling issue,” one of the main things that took a toll on their years-long marriage. In new court documents, Biermann claims that her gambling has “financially devastated” the family.
The new paperwork obtained by Page Six is demanding that the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star undergo a psychological evaluation. Biermann is referring to Zolciak’s gambling as a “compulsion.”
He claims that the mom of six has allegedly been “spending substantial time and marital funds on gambling and other games of chance.” He also claims that “this compulsion has financially devastated the parties.”
Kim Zolciak Is Neglecting The Kids
The dad of four has already asked for primary custody of the four minor children he shares with Zolciak; now, he is claiming that Zolciak cannot care for the kids properly. “[Kim’s] time is so consumed with online gambling.”
Biermann and Zolciak share six kids together, and he believes that the gambling is making her ill-equipped to care for Kroy, 11, Kash, 10, and 9-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. Zolciak’s daughters, Ariana and Brielle, are not involved in this custody mess because they are not minors.
Biermann is also asking via the document that she be tested for mental health issues such as depression, narcissistic personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and more. He even had literal receipts of his estranged wife’s gambling.
He attached scanned copies of bank statements and checks that showed thousands of dollars in withdrawals.
Kim Zolciak Made Her Requests
The Don’t Be Tardy star shared her concerns in a separate legal filing ahead of Biermann’s. The singer is worried about Biermann’s alleged drug use. She claims that she witnessed Biermann continuously “smoking marijuana.”
This leads her to have “concerns” about the “safety” of their children around him. As one of the couple’s mutual friends claimed to Page Six, the custody battle is getting messy. Both parents want primary custody, with Zolciak willing to all Biermann visitation.
Unfortunately, there is no reconciliation on the table. Zolciak insists that she had been trying to shed her husband for a few months but couldn’t pull the plug. It’s the perfect time, considering they have a few financial issues to work out!
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Have Beef With The IRS
The estranged couple has a few financial issues to work through TOGETHER, divorced or not. Zolciak and Biermann allegedly owe the IRS $1.1 million in unpaid taxes, interest fees, and penalties from 2013, 2017, and 2018.
As much as they can’t stand one another, they are stuck in their Alpharetta, Georgia, home together, waiting out the divorce and those pesky financial issues. Ironically, due to their economic problems, these two are fighting for custody when it’s undetermined how long they will have to stay in that house post-divorces.
