The Apple One bundle arrived in 2020 and has become a common option for Apple device owners who subscribe to several of the company’s services. It offers three tiers aimed at individuals, families, and people who want nearly everything included.

However, favorite services can come bundled with subscriptions that receive little or no use. Apple TV viewers might not need Apple Fitness+, while Apple Music subscribers may have no interest in Apple Arcade.

Apple Music prices increased in the United States on July 17, with Individual rising by $1 to $11.99 per month, Student increasing by $1 to $6.99, and Family climbing by $3 to $19.99. Apple One Individual remained at $19.95, while Family increased by $2 to $27.95 and Premier rose by $2 to $39.95.

All three Apple One tiers now offer at least $1 more in maximum monthly savings than before. Whether those savings are real depends on how many of the included services would otherwise be purchased separately.

Is Apple One Individual worth it in summer 2026?

Of the three Apple One bundles, Individual is the most affordable. It’s intended for one subscriber who wants the core Apple Services without the larger storage allowance or added Premier subscriptions.

Apple One Individual costs $19.95 per month. It includes Apple TV, Apple Music, Apple Arcade, and 50GB of iCloud+ storage.

The iCloud+ subscription also includes features such as HomeKit Secure Video support, custom email domains, Hide My Email, and iCloud Private Relay.

Purchased separately, 50GB of iCloud+ costs $0.99 per month, Apple Music costs $11.99, and Apple Arcade costs $6.99. Apple TV+ costs $12.99 following a streaming price increase in August 2025.

Those subscriptions cost $32.96 per month when purchased separately. Apple One Individual costs $19.95, producing maximum savings of $13.01 per month.

The value improved by $1 because Apple Music Individual became more expensive while the Apple One tier stayed unchanged. It’s a strong option for subscribers who already use all four services, but the calculation weakens when one or more goes unused.

Is Apple One Family worth it in summer 2026?

Apple One Family expands the core bundle for households with several Apple users. It increases the storage allowance and lets the subscriber share the bundle with up to five other people, for six people total.

The plan includes 200GB of shared iCloud+ storage rather than 50GB. Storage is divided among the family group instead of being provided separately to each person.

Apple Fitness, a service that’s part of Apple One

The 200GB iCloud+ plan costs $2.99 per month, while Apple TV+ costs $12.99 and Apple Arcade costs $6.99. Apple Music Family now costs $19.99 per month.

Together, those services cost $42.96 per month when purchased separately. Apple One Family costs $27.95, leaving maximum savings of $15.01 per month.

The plan previously cost $25.95, but its $2 increase was smaller than the $3 increase applied to Apple Music Family. Its maximum monthly savings are therefore $1 greater than before.

Apple One Family is strongest when several people use Apple Music and the household needs more than 50GB of iCloud+ storage. Family Sharing already lets some separately purchased services reach the same group.

Is Apple One Premier worth it in summer 2026?

Apple One Premier is the most expensive tier at $39.95 per month. It includes the same shareable services as the Family plan, along with more storage and two additional subscriptions.

The Premier plan includes 2TB of shared iCloud+ storage, Apple Fitness+, and Apple News+. Family Sharing supports the subscriber and up to five other people.

Apple Fitness+ includes guided workouts across several exercise categories, while Apple News+ provides access to participating newspapers and magazines.

The 2TB iCloud+ plan costs $9.99 per month, Apple Fitness+ costs $9.99, and Apple News+ costs $12.99. Adding those subscriptions to Apple Music Family, Apple TV+, and Apple Arcade produces a separate monthly total of $72.94.

Apple One Premier costs $39.95 per month, producing maximum savings of $32.99. The maximum monthly savings increased by $1 because Apple One Premier rose by $2 while Apple Music Family rose by $3.

Premier offers the largest possible discount, but it also requires the broadest usage to justify the monthly charge. The calculation changes considerably when Apple Fitness+ or Apple News+ receives little use.

Annual Apple TV+ and Apple Fitness+ subscriptions cost less than paying for either service month by month. Subscribers who don’t need Apple Arcade, Apple News+, or the larger shared iCloud+ allowance may save more by choosing services separately.

The annual options make Apple One a weaker deal for people who use only part of the bundle.

Is Apple One still worth it?

Apple One remains worthwhile after the latest price increases, and each tier now offers slightly greater maximum savings than before. The Individual tier gained value without becoming more expensive, while Family and Premier rose by less than Apple Music Family.

Individual is the clearest choice for one person who uses all four core services. Family works best for households that need shared Apple Music and additional iCloud+ storage.

Premier offers the greatest savings for groups who also use Apple Fitness+ and Apple News+.

The advertised discount is only meaningful when the bundle replaces subscriptions that would otherwise be purchased individually. Before switching, total the services the household regularly uses and compare that amount with the relevant Apple One price.
