Pixel Screenshots Update Makes It Easier to Find Saved Captures
Google has updated the Pixel’s Screenshots app with new filters for date range, source app, and collections. You can access these via the filter icon under the Screenshots heading.
Through the date filter, you can now view screenshots from the last 24 hours, seven days, 30 days, six months, and one year. You can also enter specific dates.
The source filter organizes screenshots by the app they were screenshotted in. You can also combine source, date, and collection filters, which appear as chips when selected.
Pixel Screenshots already uses on-device AI to organize images into categories and support natural-language searches. But these controls should help narrow results beyond image recognition or text searches.
Users interested in the new filters can update the app through Google Play, but availability may vary by device and region.
